The table is a suggestion for working hours and is not set in stone; it can be discussed and partially redefined with the applicant.
During vacations (approx. 6 weeks per year in total), the family will generally not require support. It would be ideal if part of the vacation overlaps with the future nanny’s time off. The family typically takes two weeks off around Christmas, as well as further vacations in the summer and around Easter and/or Pentecost. Otherwise, it would be great if a few unscheduled hours could be made up (similar to a flexitime account).
In general, it would be nice for the family if the person brings a certain degree of flexibility, as they would like to see how everything settles in with the new baby, and it may also happen that the son cannot attend daycare on individual unscheduled days (again, the keyword “flexitime account”).
The following qualities in a nanny would be important to the family:
-
- speaks German at a good level
-
- adventurous/active and fit, enjoys being outdoors (the son loves being outside and is very lively/active)
-
- healthy / conscious lifestyle, non-smoker
-
- big heart
-
- calm and confident personality
-
- playful and humorous
-
- hardworking, honest/trustworthy
A pedagogical background or qualification is not a central requirement for the family. A driver’s license is not strictly necessary. Being a cyclist would be an advantage but is not a must. The family lives in Munich-Nymphenburg. Naturally, it would be helpful if the nanny does not live too far away.
Salary
approx. €1,620 gross
The position is to be filled from September 2026. An earlier start would be possible; at the latest by October 2026.
