Long-Term Position with an Appreciative Family
For a warm, down-to-earth family from Planegg, we are seeking a caring, reliable, and independently working nanny to support the family long-term in their daily life. The mother is primarily at home and is looking for support and relief in family life with her two young children.
We are looking for a trusted caregiver for the two sons, aged 2.5 years and 9 months, who will enrich the family’s daily routine with calmness, empathy, and organizational skills, and who enjoys taking on responsibility. At the same time, the family is seeking pragmatic and flexible support who is willing to help with everyday tasks.
Your Responsibilities
- Loving and age-appropriate care for both children
- Preparation of simple, healthy meals for the family (enjoyment of cooking is welcome; professional culinary skills are not required)
- Supporting the mother in daily family life, particularly through shared assistance with everyday tasks such as shopping, laundry (no ironing), kitchen duties, and tidying up; regular deep cleaning of the house is handled by a separate cleaning service
- Active engagement with the children (playing together, crafts, reading aloud, etc.)
- Planning and accompanying outings and leisure activities
- Independent organization of the daily routine with the children within agreed parameters
- Taking on small organizational tasks related to daily family life
- Occasional babysitting in the evening or on weekends as agreed
What the Parents Are Looking For
- Experience in childcare—ideally with pedagogical training or as a mother
- Loving, calm, and patient approach with young children
- Flexibility with working hours
- Independent and structured working style
- High reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Willingness to adhere to agreements and to ask questions when clarification is needed
- Valid pediatric first aid certification or willingness to refresh it
- Vaccination status appropriate for caring for young children
- German (Bavarian dialect also welcome) or English at a good communication level
- Non-smoker
- Driver’s license desirable but not required
Particularly important to the family is a considerate approach to the mother’s individual needs. She places great value on safety, reliable agreements, and respect for personal boundaries. A nanny who works independently and does not expect constant social interaction with the mother would be an especially good fit for the family. Additionally, there is a strong sensitivity to perfumes and heavily scented deodorants. Therefore, we are seeking a nanny who is willing to refrain from using fragranced personal care products during working hours.
A friendly Samoyed also lives with the family. A love of animals and a relaxed attitude toward a medium-sized dog are therefore desirable; however, care or engagement with the dog is not required.
Working Hours
- 20–30 hours per week
- Exact working hours can be arranged flexibly together
- Flexibility for occasional assignments in the evening or on weekends as agreed is desirable
- Daily routines will change as the children grow. Therefore, willingness to adjust working days and times together over the years as needed is desirable.
